So, I've decided

     I've decided how I'm going to do my dreadlocks.  I'm going to do the back-comb method and use a crochet hook to lock them.  Now, for you people who know about hair, would a straightening comb work for back combing?  For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a metal comb with an insulated handle that you put on a stove to heat up to straighten hair.  But yes, I've heard to either use a bunch of plastic combs or to get a metal one for dreadlocks if you want to back-comb them.  So I was wondering if a hot comb would work?
